"‎As a young girl growing up, Air Cadets provided me with a sense of honour and pride in the community in which I resided, ultimately developing me into the woman I am today; self-disciplined,  professional and mature. Air Cadets offers a wide range of opportunities to assist with the development of good moral character in young adults through the building up of confident young leaders; it is a part of my past that I will always be proud to have taken part in.  Air Cadets is an organization that pushed me out of my comfort zone as a timid twelve year old and helped me become a quiet leader continually striving for my personal best in all aspects of my life. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Air Cadets has ultimately developed my passion and tenacity to pursue career aspirations within the field of law enforcement. The perseverance, respect and professionalism I have learned through Air Cadets has and will continue to serve me for many years to come!"

"I joined Air Cadets because I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Shortly after joining, I learned of a new passion: Leading and Teaching. The experiences and challenges that were presented to me in Cadets prepared me for my career and taught me that with hard work and dedication, I'm capable of anything!"

“People are the result of a lot of influences they see when they’re young, and that is why it’s so important now to show them all the opportunities that exist for them....The sky is not the limit. You are the result of your day-to-day decisions, and it’s amazing where those decisions can take you. What you do today turns you into who you are tomorrow.”

Commander (Ret'd) Chris Hadfield, OC OOnt CD

Astronaut

Former Air Cadet, #820 RCACS
