Cadets on parade saluting a dignitary

Annual Ceremonial Review

Our training year culminates in our Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR) where we hold a parade, usually at the Brantford Airport, to celebrate and demonstrate our progress to family, friends and local dignitaries.  Cadets are expected to prioritize attending this, unless the Commanding Officer has excused them.

Three main things happen:

Cadets marching away from the camera

A Ceremonial Parade

We parade as one big squadron, after having practiced for several weeks and prepared our uniforms to be inspected.

A cadet playing trumpet

Demonstrations

Our teams have an opportunity to demonstrate their work by MCing the event, performing music, drill routines, or marshaling an aircraft.

A cadet receiving an award from a dignitary

Awards

Every ACR includes lots of awards and presentations, celebrating our successes over the last training year.
