Special Events

The Squadron participates in a range of special events each year supporting community organizations, familiarizing ourselves with the Canadian Armed Forces, learning about aviation careers, and more. Here's a sampling:

Aviation Careers

Over March Break 2025, the Squadron was invited to see an aircraft maintenance facility, paired with a visit to the Warplane Museum.

Fun and Camaraderie

In March 2025, the Squadron visited the Brantford Bulldogs, our local OHL team. We also went bowling, and had lots of other fun!

Citizenship

For many years, our Member of Provincial Parliament has invited a select group of cadets to visit Queen's Park, see the legislature in action, and meet provincial politicians.

Community Service

Our cadets make a difference - they help distribute poppies, run an annual toy drive, clean up our local airport, give kids a chance to meet a fly-in Santa, and more!

Canadian Armed Forces Familiarization

Cadets get opportunities to meet members of the Canadian Armed Forces and learn about careers in the Air Force.

Parades

Our band and other cadets regularly participate in area parades, including Santa Claus Parade, Remembrance Day, and recently, a Freedom of the city Parade.
